Super kawaii April- Cotton Candy/ Lemonade

There are all hand-painted, done on full-cover glue-on nails...and it's damn near summer so you know I gotta get my pedicure on! Fairy kei fa' liffffe!

"South Mpls shopping"

Hey- so I went to some little family owned beauty supply and fashion stores in south Mpls. I went to one store that had SOOOOO much stuff! Tons of cute barrettes, hair beads, nail polishes, cute jewelery, nail art supplies, weave, wig, everythang! (I like to stay natural though ^_^)

After that I went to a thrift store. Anyways- here's everything:

All this is so cheap but functional, and works well as decora, fairy kei, or just a bunch of cute s**t! And I've been crafting a ton lately, and one of my favorite past times is decorating toys.

F**k yeah my care bear is decora. Why wouldn't she be?!

And there's nothing better than adding barrettes and rhinestones to my little ponies.
Things are getting cuter all the time around here. I'm hoping to get on that tumblr tonight. Peace out <3

"Bob Marley"

Another switchup- same acrylics ^_ ^
I'm getting the hang of this water marble b.s. Someday I'm gonna make the most helpful tutorial EVER on it

Products Used:
L.A. Colors Metallic Green (from metallics kit)
L.A. Colors BCC 562 Red
L.A. Colors 570 Gold
Sally Hansen Xtreme 300 White On
Sally Hansen Xtreme 180 Disco Ball (iridescent glitter)

Method Used:
Coat 1: Paint nails white and tape off for the marbling
Coat 2: Drop 2 drops of yellow, one red, one green, continue the bullseye
Coat 3: I made a flower pattern in the water dragging 4 points outwards, and in between 4 points inward
Coat 4: When you find a pattern you like, dip it in!
Coat 5: When all nails are dry, add glitter

Voila!

"Fruit Salad...Yummy Yummy"

Hey guys I had to change it up again. I've changed my nails 3 times this week...That's why I like 'em short for a while because I can change them a lot more often. Yeeha, don't hate on this one too bad I had to experiment and I know it looks amateur but I was rushing and had to get to work. I bumped my thumb and index as well so they didn't finish well, but whatever I was just screwing around having fun. I got no tutorial on this. Just throw some fruits on your nails! I mainly used a thin nail art brush (similar to a striper with shorter bristles) and a toothpick....Anyways, I'm trying to think of an AWESOME acrylic set to start. Wish me luck ^_^

"Friday Night Lights"

These rainbow nails are oh so sexy and sparkly, they light up the night!

Products Used: 3 tints of each color, preferably shimmery or metallic.
(For Yellow)
Sally Hansen Xtreme 360 Mellow Yellow
Sally Hansen HD 12 Hue
Milani 3D holographic 510 (gold)
Sally Hansen Xtreme 180 Disco Ball
G- 1, Response, or any larger, denser silver metallic glitter
2-3mm rhinestones (large) or stick-on earrings matching the colors of the nails

Method Used:
Coat 1: Use the striper to paint stripes of the 3 tints of the same color vertically
Coat 2: Apply iridescent (in this case, disco ball) glitter on top
Coat 3: Paint the tips using the really dense larger glitter
Coat 4: Add a rhinestone or stick on earring ^_^

"Tiesto"

These are chunky, sexy, and super fabulous. Glitter and rhinestones make them an adult affair ^_^

Products Used:
Sally Hansen HD 12 Hue (sparse glitter)
Sally Hansen Xtreme 180 Disco Ball (Dense glitter)
Milani 3D Holographic 510 (Gold) (Very dense, very pigmented glitter)
3-4mm (large) rhinestones of assorted colors
1-2 mm rhinestones or stick-on-earrings
2-3mm metallic confetti pieces

Method Used:
Coat 1:  2 or 3 shades of each color: sheer micro glitter (like Sally Hansen HD), sparse glitter with similar colors, then dense glitter of the same colors. The idea is to grade from sparse to dense glitter at the tip. Paint a third of nail each color, starting with sheer micro glitter at cuticle.
Coat 2: Glue Biggest rhinestones at the tip, trickling down to smallest rhinestones. Use a lot! I glued metallic pieces of confetti to each nail for added sparkle! Use anything glittery to catch people's eyes!
