Top Coat and voila!

"Hello Kitty Blue and Purple"

Took off the acrylics I had for Mom's visit. You should've seen em I didn't get a chance to take a photo, so they're like my nail secret. Anyways, Here's some short cuteness. I got another package of nail junk from eBay so I wanted to make sure it worked, lol! No tutorial, anything goes with nail bling ^_^

So yeah, check out ebay for nail art, you can get really cheap stuff with free shipping to the US, just as long as you're patient!

"Britney Spears"

These nails remind me of Britney's Curious perfume. I water marbled, then added goodies!

Products Used:
L.A. Colors BCC 580 Teal
L.A. Colors BCC 575 Pink
L.A. Colors Metallic Charcoal (from metallics set)
Sally Hansen Xtreme 220 Celeb City
White nail art star confetti (2.5mm)
Green and Pink nail rhinestones (1-2mm)

Method Used:
I chose not to prime my nails this time, so the metallic polish would be more sheer. My nails are clear acrylic
Coat 1: Create a water bullseye dropping one of each polish at a time, I used 2 drops for each teal
Coat 2: I made random swirls in the water for my design
Coat 3: Dip in favorite spot!
Coat 4: No glitter this time! Use clear coat to set rhinestones and stars randomly, and to cover up mistakes

This is a sexy one!

"Bob Marley"

Another switchup- same acrylics ^_ ^

Coat 2: Drop 2 drops of yellow, one red, one green, continue the bullseye
Coat 3: I made a flower pattern in the water dragging 4 points outwards, and in between 4 points inward
Coat 4: When you find a pattern you like, dip it in!
Coat 5: When all nails are dry, add glitter

Voila!

"Tonight Tonight"

I got restless again. But I love the versatility of acrylics too much, I was watching videos and inspiration struck!

This is done over a clear acrylic set with clear tips.
Products Used: (Blue nails)
Milani 3d Holographic 512 Cyberspace
L.A. Colors BCC 572 Metallic Blue
L.A. Colors BCC 569 Dark Blue
L.A. Colors Metallic Charcoal
Sally Hansen Xtreme 180 Disco Ball (iridescent glitter)
Any white and yellow polishes
Star-shaped nail confetti
Small (1mm) clear/ iridescent rhinestones

Method Used:
Coat 1: Paint a coat of glitter on all nails
Coat 2: With a cosmetic sponge, paste sheer metallic blue to your tips (milani cyberspace)
Coat 3: Continue sponging with darker shades of blue, all the way up to the tip making a gradient. You may have to experiment on paper to get the right shades and layers.
Coat 4: Paint a moon or star on your thumb, or another nail.
**I did the moon with a nail art brush, and the star by putting a drop of white on the nail and fanning out sparkles with a toothpick**
Coat 5: Add stars towards the tips
Coat 6: Add rhinestones in between

I LOVE this one! Hope you do too ^^

"Lisa Frank Leopard"

So.....figured out that acrylic set I wanted to do!

The nail art here is pretty simple, I used 2 similar metallic colors on each nail, and plain black. Easy Peasy.
Products Used: (Yellow Nail)
Milani 3D Holographic 510 Metallic Gold
L.A. Colors ColorCraze 570 Wave Length Metallic Yellow
Wet N' Wild (wildshine) 460D Kaleidoscope (iridescent glitter)
Wet N' Wild (wildshine) 424A Black Creme

Method Used:
Prepare your nails with a clear acrylic set with clear acrylic tips.
Coat 1: Paint a layer of iridescent glitter
Coat 2: Add 3 large dots of 1 color to the nail, space them apart to use another color
Coat 3: Add 3 smaller dots of another color, again have room for the leopard print
Coat 4: Add black leopard marks around the dots. (use google for pictures!)

Top Coat and that's it. One of the easiest but most fun acrylic sets ever!

"Daaaaayyyuuummmmm!!"

OK gals from the U.S. LISTEN UP!! I just stumbled on a nail polish gold mine! Get to your local Dollar Tree asap, they have great nail polish for sale- L.A. Colors! I first found L.A. Colors at Walgreens and CVS and bought a pack of metallic nail polish, and the quality is fantastic, the pigments are really vivid! So at the dollar store they have all kinds of L.A. Colors nail polish in assorted colors, some are matte but most are metallic or glitter! I took home 10 bottles.

BONUS!! Again, at Dollar Tree they also have L.A. Colors Nail Art Deco pens! Another fantastic find, great quality, I took home 4 of these, (and now that I've tried them I'm going back for the rest!)

The nice thing here is you can order these online, everything is $1 a piece. So for once, my ghetto fabulous way of living pays off well. $14 for 14 bottles of nail polish. What an awesome day!
